Urus / BMW X6 or Tata Curve

The Tata Curvv looks similar to BMW X6. Tata Curvv will be one of the most important SUV for Tata Motors for Indian market. Curvv will be the India's first SUV coupe which is made in India. It has been confirmed that the Tata Curvv will be launched in 2024, before the Tata Sierra EV in 2025. 

Engine options

Tata Curvv will come first with the ICE engine and then in EV. Tata Motors has confirmed that the Curvv will be the first car to get newly develop 1.2 liter TGDI engine will give a claimed 125 bhp and will be offered in two states of tune for the torque, 190 Nm for the standard version and 255 Nm for sportier version. In addition with the petrol Tata Motors will continue to offer its diesel engines for the diesel customers. 

 

Unique Sportsback Design

The Tata Curvv is styled like an SUV coupe, taking inspiration from the BMW X6 with the sportsback rear end, which is first in India. Compared to the facelifted Tata Nexon, the Tata Curvv looks similar from the front but the rear is different because of its sportsback look. The Curvv will also get the LED DRLs at front, same as Tata Nexon, and will get newly designed 18 inch alloy wheels. Curvv will also get connected LED tail lamp similar to Volkswagen Taigun. Tata Motors has even confirmed that 90% of the styling elements shown on the Curvv at the Auto Expo will remain same in the production model.

Platform

The Tata Curvv is based on the Tata Motors X1 platform, which is also the same platform for Tata Nexon. To be more precise the X1 platform is stretched for the Tata Curvv. The Nexon's wheelbase is 2498mm, and the Curvv  wheelbase may be around 2600mm.stretched out to rival Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.

Interior

The interior of the Tata Curvv is futuristic, with a digital cockpit and a big digital infotainment screen. The cabin will get lesser buttons, and is expected that lot of the functionality  in the Curvv will be operated using voice commands. There is a now design for the steering wheel which will make a new identity for Tata, and it will first be seen on the facelifted Nexon. The steering wheel be the same like in Nexon with a lit up Tata logo. With this looks and features the Tata Curvv will definitely be the most selling SUV in the segment.
