But will it come to India?

Volkswagen's 5th gen Polo production in India will soon come to an end after 12 years. The premium hatchback has been produced at VW’s plant in Chakan, Maharashtra since 2009 and was the brand’s first locally produced model. It made its official India debut at Auto Expo 2010 and went on sale in February that year. The premium hatchback is by far VW’s bestselling model in India, with over 2.5 lakh units sold.

Some sources claim that no replacement for Polo has been planed as far now.
