Volkswagen Vento in new avatar : Virtus

Volkswagen has launched its Virtus in Indian Market in place of Vento. Virtus is bigger in every dimensions from the Vento and have typically Volkswagen design which is more focused on the sportier side.

 

Virtus is not as elegant as SKODA Slavia. According to my personal opinion Vento looks more elegant from exterior though it is a smaller in dimension. This design factor will be reflected on sales figure of Virtus. 

VW has designed Virtus on sportier side, it has lots of black shades which looks nice in the rear but the front can be more appealing. SKODA Slavia and Virtus has shared lots of parts but looks completely different from each other. Build quality of VW was never a question and you can feel safe with lots of safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, multi collision braking and what not.

Virtus has a very modern interior and looks very premium. It has ambient lighting, virtual cockpit, sunroof, 25.4 cm infotainment system, wireless charging and what not. Virtus is based on the India specific MQB-AO IN platform which has more strength and offer better ground clearance than the previous PQ platform used in the VW Vento.
