Volkswagen Taigun Facelift 2024

Volkswagen Taigun Facelift 2024

Volkswagen has showcased the production ready model of the T cross facelift, which is the global name of the Volkswagen Taigun in India. Two cars have identical designs in the rear and sides profiles, and their interior are similar too. Facelifted Taigun could feature similar design and feature updates inspired from the newly showcased T-Cross.

Exterior

The biggest change in the new T-Cross is the revised front profile that looks different and premium with the new LEDs in the newly designed bumper. Volkswagen may carry the same changes to the Indian Taigun. The dimensions looks more or less the same but the alloy wheels may be different in the Taigun facelift. The rear of the T-Cross has new connected LED tail lamps, which can also be carried in the Taigun facelift in India.

Interior

The interior of the new T-Cross looks very similar to the interior of the current Taigun, but there are some minor changes. The interior looks reworked,  now  offering a new free standing 9.2-inch infotainment touchscreen in place of the 10-inch unit.
Volkswagen has also added more soft-touch materials and new seat cover designs in the interior of the new T-Cross for a more premium and fresh look, which may also be a part of the updated Taigun SUV in India.

Engine options

Volkswagen hasn't revealed any changes to the engine option of the T-Cross, and will likely be giving the same 1-litre and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines  with 6-speed manual, 7-speed DSG and 6-speed torque converter transmissions options.

Safety

Volkswagen Taigun is one of the safest car in the Indian market as it has scored 5 star ratings in the GNCAP and Latin NCAP. The facelifted T Cross will be equipped with ADAS technology and will come with features like adaptive cruise control lane-keep assist and autonomous emergency braking.  That not all, Volkswagen has also made many safety features standard which was previously available in the top model.

The facelifted T- Cross will be launched in the beginning of 2024 in the international market but for India in the end of 2024

Believe it or not, Volkswagen Polo still beats in the hearts of the car enthusiast. What do you think Taigun is a good upgrade to the Polo customers or we still need the new POLO?
