C3 is a sub four meter SUV from Citroen and launched at a price of  6.16 lakhs to 8.92 lakhsC3 will be the first mass market vehicle for India after the premium and pricey C5 Aircross. Citroen is also planning to launch a bigger version of C3 likely to be called C3 aircross to compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Citroen  C3 is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with five-speed manual and an automatic transmission options. 


In terms of design, the Citroen C3 will feature the signature split headlamp design divided by a two-slat chrome grille and a secondary hexagonal-shaped grille. The dual-tone bumpers will get brushed aluminum skid plates. The Citroen C3 will have a seating capacity of five people. 

The Citroen C3 will rival the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra xuv300 Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and the Nissan Magnite.


Citroen will pack the C3 with features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, three USB sockets, a 12V socket, and connected car tech.

The C3 is 3,996mm long, sits on a 2,540mm wheelbase, and has a ground clearance of 180mm.


Inside, the Citroen C3 will feature a dual-tone interior, while the black dashboard will be complemented by a large orange color insert. Citroen C3 will be offered in multiple color options including Polar White, Platinum Grey, Steel Grey, Zesty Orange, Shark Grey, Arctic Steel and Cobalt Blue but most of these will come with dual-tone options, where the roof will get a Platinum Grey or Zesty Orange color.




The Brazil-spec Citroen C3 is equipped with dual airbags has been tested by Latin NCAP scoring a zero star in the crash test.
